The Future of International Education in Jeddah

Welcome to Roya School's web page! We are a new primary school in Jeddah, but our teachers, staff, and administrators have decades of experience working in education. After all of that experience at some of the best schools in Saudi, we realized something important.

We could do better.

In many ways, education at most schools has not changed much in hundreds of years. However, the world has evolved and teaching should, too. At Roya, we don't believe the purpose of education is just to pass tests. Our school was founded on the idea that education should help students interact with the world and the people in it. We want to help our students grow as people, helping them develop their mental and emotional intelligence as well as their academics.

With these thoughts in mind, our team worked together to develop the mission and vision statements to encompass these lofty ideals. These statements are our goals and we will continue to work toward making education at our school the education of the future. The world, Saudi Arabia, and Jeddah are constantly changing. We want to help prepare our students for these changes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop compassionate and innovative leaders with strong morals and values based on Saudi principles, while also providing a premier education.

How can we do this?

We research and stay up-to-date on the latest information about education and childcare. We use science-based evidence to help our students learn about the world and the skills they need to navigate in the world. We focus on teaching them about books, and their emotions and communication skills. These are invaluable lessons that students will use daily. Learning these skills when they're young will empower them to make a positive impact on their communities and achieve lifelong success.

Our Vision

Our vision for the future of Roya is to be a pillar of educational excellence. We want to be the best international primary school in Jeddah. We will do this by staying on the cutting edge of educational tools and having great teachers, staff and administrators working together.

Focusing on these goals, our students will become innovative leaders. In the end, we will help teach children to be the best versions of themselves and have the confidence to share their ideas and solutions with the world.
