Overview
Saudi National Day was an unforgettable occasion at Royat Al Ebtikar International School! Students celebrated their country’s rich history, culture, and achievements with pride. Dressed in traditional attire, they took part in exciting activities all week long, making it a fun-filled event that brought everyone together to honour the Kingdom.
Goals
This year’s celebration whisked students on a journey about Saudi Arabia’s present and future. We honoured the Kingdom and celebrated its current achievements, and sparked excitement for the future under Vision 2030. The event showcased Saudi culture with traditional folk music, food, and costumes, making it a memorable experience for all.
Preparation
The school buzzed with excitement as the Events Committee prepared according to Ministry guidelines. Green and white decorations adorned every corner, with Saudi flags and maps filling the space. Students proudly wore white and green, and parents contributed delicious traditional dishes to our potluck, adding to the festive atmosphere.

| From September 24 to 26, the school gym turned into a vibrant hub of celebration. Our primary school students showcased projects highlighting Saudi Arabia’s Giga Projects, while the main feature, the Al Marraya maze, captivated everyone. It was a fantastic mix of fun, learning, and exploration, all tied to sustainability and innovation. | From September 29 to October 1, students dived deeper into Saudi culture with hands-on activities. They created KSA maps, marched in tribute to the Kingdom’s defenders, and explored traditional crafts. These engaging sessions brought students, teachers, and staff together in a wonderful celebration of Saudi heritage. |
Giga Projects Presentation & Activities
The spotlight shone on five incredible Giga Projects: The Line, Al Muraba, NEOM, Solar Power, and Al Ula. Students learned how these bold initiatives are transforming the country by tackling issues like energy shortages and transport problems. It was a thrilling glimpse into the Kingdom’s future and potential career paths.
Conclusion
Saudi National Day is a nationwide celebration that fills hearts with pride. After several days off to spend with family, students returned to school with a deeper understanding of Saudi Arabia’s past, present, and bright future. By the end of the celebration, every student had a greater appreciation for the Kingdom’s incredible journey.
