Our Incredible Saudi National Day Celebration! ๐ธ๐ฆโจ
What an absolutely fantastic day we had in September 2025! ๐๏ธ Our whole school came together to celebrate Saudi National Day. It was a day full of colour, music, and pride for our wonderful country! ๐
The programme was packed with fun events, cool performances, and exciting activities. Everyone had the best time learning more about Saudi culture and heritage. It was a day we will never forget! ๐

A Royal Welcome! ๐ถ
When students arrived at school, they didn’t go to their classrooms. Instead, they were welcomed into the gym area. And what a welcome it was! The room was decorated in beautiful green, and traditional Saudi music was playing. ๐ต It immediately felt like a very special day was about to begin!
A Powerful Opening Ceremony! ๐ค
The celebration started with a very important and respectful opening ceremony. Everyone stood proudly as we raised the flag of Saudi Arabia ๐ธ๐ฆ. Then, we all listened quietly as the Saudi National Anthem played. It was a beautiful moment that filled our hearts with national pride.
Next, there was a peaceful recitation of the Holy Qur'an. ๐ After that, a student stood up and recited a gorgeous Arabic poem to honour the nation. It was a very moving and proud start to our day.
A Fabulous Fashion Show! ๐๐
After the ceremony, it was time for a show! We had a traditional fashion show. Students walked down a runway like supermodels, showcasing their gorgeous Saudi outfits. There were so many beautiful colours and designs. It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in their finest clothes to celebrate our culture!
A Quick Break for Tasty Snacks! ๐ช
All that excitement made everyone a little peckish! So, we had a short break to enjoy some light snacks and drinks. It was a nice chance to chat with friends about all the fun we were having.
Spectacular Main Performances! ๐ญ
After our break, it was time for the main performances! A series of special acts took to the stage.
- First, we saw an amazing
Soldiers' Training Exhibition! ๐โ๏ธ
This demonstration was coordinated by Ms. Amal. It was so cool to see the discipline and skill on display. We all felt very safe and proud!
- Next, we enjoyed a lovely
Musical Instruments Performance ๐ป headed by Ms. Salwa. The music was beautiful and filled the gym with happy sounds.
- Finally, we watched an
entertaining traditional folk dance! ๐บ The dancers moved to the rhythm of the music, and their colourful costumes swirled. It was so much fun to watch!
Awesome Student Projects! ๐ผ๏ธ
Next, we had a chance to appreciate all the hard work students had done. There was an area where class projects were on display. ๐จ We got to walk around and view all the creative and clever work. It was a brilliant way to celebrate everyone’s creativity and effort.
A Yummy Healthy Lunch! ๐ฝ๏ธ
All that exploring built up a big appetite! Luckily, a special healthy lunch was served. We enjoyed delicious molokhia and white rice, accompanied by fresh juice. ๐๐ฅฌ It was the perfect food to give us energy for the afternoon fun!
Activity Hall Fun! ๐ฅณ
The best was saved for last! The activity hall was opened up with lots of engaging stations for us to explore. This was a free-flow session, which meant we could choose whatever activities we wanted! It was so much fun!

Arts & Crafts:
- Modelling Clay: We got to create sculptures and shapes inspired by Saudi culture. It was squishy and fun!
- Decoupage Art: We decorated wooden items with colourful national designs. We made some really pretty things!
- Palm Tree Mosaic Art: We created beautiful mosaics using coloured paper or tiles. They looked like tiny stained-glass windows!
๐ด Culinary Corner:
- Dates Treat Making: We learned to make simple and delicious treats using yummy dates! It was tasty and fun.

Entertainment:
- Face Painting: We got a Saudi flag or other themed design painted on our faces! ๐จ It was the coolest look!
- Photo Shooting Stations: There were fun props and backdrops for taking memorable photos. ๐ธ We took so many silly and happy pictures!
๐ฆ Special Treats:
- And the best part? Popcorn and ice cream were available for everyone to enjoy! ๐ฟ It was a sweet and delicious end to a perfect day.
What an unforgettable celebration it was! ๐ The variety of activities meant there was something for everyone to enjoy. We left school feeling happy, proud, and full of love for Saudi Arabia.
