🚀 Reaching for the Stars during Space Week 🇸🇦

At Royat Al-Ebtikar International School, our celebration of Space Week brought learning to life across both Primary and Early Years, giving our students the opportunity to explore the wonders of the universe through curiosity, imagination, science, and reflection. 🌟✨

Our teachers engaged Primary students in a lively and imaginative discussion about the wonders of space. 🌙☀️⭐ The session began with familiar ideas such as the Sun, Moon, and stars — things children can observe in their everyday lives.

From there, students explored the importance of space exploration and learned how satellites support communication and weather forecasting, as well as how astronauts live and work in space. 🛰️👩‍🚀

Students were encouraged to ask big and curious questions: What might it be like to walk on the Moon? 🌕 Could there be life on other planets? 👽 Questions like these helped combine imagination with scientific thinking, creating an exciting starting point for future learning.

By connecting the mysteries of the universe with real-world experiences, the session introduced students to basic concepts in astronomy while inspiring enthusiasm for discovery and exploration. 🔭✨ This approach helped lay a strong foundation for future interest in science and technology while supporting our commitment to creative and engaging education in Saudi Arabia. 🇸🇦📚

In Early Years, the teacher introduced the topic of space through a faith-based perspective using the Alam Salam programme, beautifully bringing together spiritual values and early scientific curiosity. ✨📖

The discussion began with simple ideas about the sky, Sun, Moon, and stars, connecting these natural wonders with creation and the greatness of the Creator. 🌞🌙⭐

By presenting space as part of a beautiful divine creation, the children were encouraged to see the universe as both a scientific wonder and an opportunity for spiritual reflection. The teacher used storytelling, verses, guided questions, and joyful songs 🎶 to help our young learners explore the topic with curiosity, wonder, and reverence.

This thoughtful approach allowed children to connect their early understanding of space with their developing sense of faith, encouraging gratitude, wonder, and respect for creation.
